Do I need an appointment for vaccinations?
We offer both walk-in and appointment-based vaccination services. For travel vaccinations, we recommend booking an appointment to ensure we have the required vaccines in stock. Flu vaccinations are available on a walk-in basis during flu season.
How do I transfer my prescription to Herbert Pharmacy?
Transferring your prescription is easy. Simply ask your GP to send your electronic prescription to Herbert Pharmacy, or bring in your paper prescription. We can also contact your GP on your behalf to arrange the transfer.
Do you offer free prescription delivery?
Yes! We offer a free prescription delivery service within the local area. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday. Simply let us know when dropping off your prescription or call us to arrange a delivery.
What health checks do you offer?
We provide a range of health checks including blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol testing, diabetes screening, and BMI assessments. Some services are available free through the NHS, while others are offered as private services at competitive prices.
Can I get a private prescription filled at your pharmacy?
Yes, we accept and dispense private prescriptions. We keep a wide range of medications in stock and can usually fulfil your prescription on the same day. For specialist medications, we can arrange next-day delivery from our suppliers.
